Who we are

DesignQure is a trading name of BuyGuy Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom. BuyGuy Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, which means we decide why and how it is used.

The short version

This website has no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising or social pixels, and sets no tracking cookies. The only personal data we receive is what you type into the contact form and choose to send us. We use it to reply to you. We do not sell it.

What we collect

When you submit the contact form, we receive the fields you complete:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Any alternative contact detail you provide
• Your brand or company name, and your current website address, if you enter them
• The service you are interested in and the budget range you select
• The content of your message

What we do not collect

• We do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or any equivalent analytics product
• We do not run advertising pixels or social media tracking scripts
• We do not set cookies for tracking, advertising, or profiling
• We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no tracking cookies and shows no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to. The site writes a single value to your browser’s session storage: a short-lived flag used to prevent an error page from reloading in a loop. It contains no personal data, is not readable by us, and is cleared when you close the tab.

Who processes data on our behalf

We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They process data on our instructions only.

• Netlify — hosting and form handling. Netlify receives your form submission and, like any web host, records standard server request data including IP address.
• Sanity — the content system behind the blog. It stores article content and serves blog images. It does not receive contact form data.

Why we are allowed to use your data

When you send an enquiry, we process your data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to a request you initiated. You are never required to submit the form to read anything on this site.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to answer you and, where a project follows, for the life of that working relationship plus any period we are required to keep business records. If an enquiry does not lead to work, we delete it once it is clearly no longer relevant. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to do any of the following. We will not charge you for asking, and we will respond within one month.

• Tell you what personal data of yours we hold, and give you a copy
• Correct anything that is wrong or out of date
• Delete your data
• Restrict or object to how we use it
• Withdraw consent you previously gave

Complaints

If you are in the UK or the EU and you think we have mishandled your data, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.

Contacting us about your data

Email hello@designqurestudio.com with any request about your personal data — access, correction, deletion, or anything else in this policy. You can also use the contact form on our homepage. We will treat it as a formal request from the day it arrives, and respond within one month.

International visitors

We work with clients in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and the Middle East. Our hosting and content providers operate globally, which means your data may be processed outside the country you live in.

Changes to this policy

If we add anything to this site that collects data — analytics, a booking tool, a newsletter — we will update this page before it goes live, and change the date at the top.
